Rev. David G. Osborne was installed as pastor at Christ Lutheran Church on Feb. 6, 2005. Before accepting his new post, Pastor Osborne was an assistant to the Bishop of the Southeastern Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America with assignment as pastor for Transforming Congregations. He is a graduate of Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, Texas, and Christ Seminary. He has served congregations in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. And he even brought along his wife, Karen! She serves as the Music Director for the church.

Dear Friends,
On behalf of the Disciples of Christ Lutheran Church I wish to welcome you to our website. We hope that this site will introduce you to the life and ministry of Christ Lutheran Church where we are “growing in faith, serving our community, and connecting others to Christ.” Christ Lutheran Church is a community of believers working to help one another find meaning, purpose, and joy in their lives. Together we reach out to serve those in our surrounding communities who are in need. Our source of strength and love is the love that God has shown to each of us in Jesus Christ. We gather weekly to hear of that love in our worship services. When you visit Hilton Head Island, we wish to invite you to join us in worship. Our church serves the thousands of visitors each year who vacation and enjoy the beauty of the island. Each week we offer a worship service on Sunday morning at 8:30 and 11:00. Sunday school, coffee fellowship, and our Adult Forum meet every Sunday morning at 10:00.
